NC Phenomenon

The fascinating study of biblical numerology has been part of my regimen for over 30 years.  The number 30 is the bible number that denotes priestly authority and maturity.

For example, the patriarch Joseph came to the posture of rulership in the land of Egypt at the age of 30 (Gen. 41:46).  The Old Testament priests under the Levitical economy began to function at the age of 30.  The sweet psalmist David was anointed to rule as king over all Israel at the age of 30 (2 Sam. 5:4).  The Lord Jesus Christ, our great High Priest, inaugurated His public ministry at the age of 30 (Lk. 3:23 with Heb. 4:14-8:6).

This Word from the Lord came through international prophecy teacher Derek Prince here in Jacksonville, NC, on April 6, 1975:

“I have found favor with you here in Eastern North Carolina.  I will personally come to visit you.  There will be a revival greater than the great Wales phenomenon (the Welsh Revival took place in 1904-1905).  There will be kings and leaders from north, south, east, and west that will come and study the Eastern North Carolina phenomenon.”

The year of 2005 marked the 30th year since this declaration was made to the people of God.  More folks are praying for revival throughout Onslow County than at any other time that I have known.  I believe that we are beginning to see the mercy-drops of the Eastern North Carolina phenomenon, an unprecedented outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon this region.  What do you think?

Zephaniah 2:6
“And the sea coast shall be dwellings and cottages for shepherds,
and folds for flocks”  (KJV).

“The coastland will become a pasture,
a place of shepherd camps and folds for sheep”  (TLB)

The utterance in quotes was an interpretation of tongues given by Derek Prince April 6, 1975, at Deliverance Evangelistic Temple, Jacksonville, NC, with host pastor Apostle L. O. Sanders.  This was the largest joint worship service involving blacks and whites in Onslow County’s history up until that time.
