About this Product
Jesus, born of a virgin, the Word made flesh, tabernacled among men. Four chapters of Scripture unfold the season of the Messiah’s first appearing (Mt. 1-2;Lk. 1-2), showing the spiritual climate of His day to be: A time of wonder, A time of witness, A time of warfare, and A time of worship.
…Journey back to 4 B.C. The King and His Kingdom are about to come. Heaven and earth, God and man, are about to mysteriously mingle in one holy Seed. An understanding of the time of Christ’s first advent will arm and equip us to recognize and acknowledge the present season of the Holy Spirit upon the end-time Church -The Time of the Messiah.
From the Preface:
“Jesus came! The Word was made flesh and tabernacled among us (jn 1:14). Jesus is coming! Once again, it’s time for the Messiah to appear! The purpose of His coming, then and now, is to redeem His people, to endow them with the spirit of Sonship (Jn 1:12, Rom. 8:14)…The “desire of all nations” is Messiah, both Head and Body; that unique grammatical statement in Haggai 2:7 (with a singular subject and a plural verb) literally reads, “the desire of all nations, they shall come.” This describes the time for Christ to be fully formed in a people (Gal 4:19, Col 1:27)–His glorious Church, a many-membered new creation Man, the Body of Christ. The latin word for ‘body” is corpus–there is a corporate Messiah! …An understanding of the time of the Messiah’s first advent will arm and equip us to recognize and acknowledge the present season of the Holy Spirit upon the end-time Church…” –Pastor Kelley Varner
